David Mendell is proprietor of Kerns Fine Jewelry, a family owned, independent jewelry and watch shop in Burlingame. Kerns is a constant contributor to local charities throughout our region. Born and raised on the peninsula, David went on to graduate from USC's School of Dramatic Arts, and then spent 8 years in New York as an actor. David is a proud husband and father of 2 boys, member of Burlingame Rotary Club and a 2010 graduate of the Leadership Program.  Some favorite community involvements include the Mills Peninsula Hospital Foundation Women's Luncheon, CASA, SolMateo Kitchen Tour and Holidays at Filoli.
