Gayl is a 1999 Leadership San Mateo graduate who served on the Leadership Advisory board for several years and has co-chaired Business & Economic Day. She has been active with both the San Mateo and Foster City Chambers, serving on the Foster City Chamber Board.

Gayl has worked with Mary Kay for the past 33 years building a broad client base as well as mentoring other consultants nationwide in building their business. Gayl graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Home Economics and obtained a BA in Anthropology from San Jose State where she computerized archeological data of the Anasazi Indians from the four corners area. She loves to read and take morning walks.
