Dianne Willoughby

Dianne is an experienced communicator who loves to tell stories of impact. She joined Leadership Council SMC in the fall of 2021, just after the start of the first Leadership CORPS cohort, and has been inspired to share the organization’s mission and vision from her first day. She is a member of the CORPS Class of 2025.

Dianne began her career as a CPA in public accounting serving both large multinational corporations and small nonprofits before moving to leading the operations team of a global investment firm. Always passionate about writing, in 2015 Dianne changed course to follow her dream, and has since served both public and private educational institutions in writing, editorial management, and community outreach roles.

Originally from New Jersey, Dianne has lived in San Mateo County for 30 years. A dedicated volunteer, brought her love of reading to service as a Lit Club Leader at The Nueva School for 10 years, and has held officer positions in several education and sports organizations. In addition to reading, she loves spending time with family, crocheting, and going to the beach. She holds a BS from Seton Hall University.
